This site adaptation is the first ice-skating facility in the Augusta area and was a joint venture of an ice rink owner in Atlanta and local Augusta businessmen. The building utilizes multiple pre-engineered structures with standing seam roofs, insulated composite metal wall panels, with block and stucco exterior finishes.
The ice rink itself occupies 21,148 square feet with the balance of the space being utilized as public areas, concession, office space and a pro shop.
The Ice Forum's web site contains information about their facilities, classes, and activities.
